Definition of Exertion InterfaceThe games are fast!

To make sports over a distance a reality, a new approach to interface design is needed. An obvious approach for a vast majority of applications is to design interfaces that require the least amount of physical workload to use. Here, the opposite is introduced: Exertion Interfaces.

An Exertion Interface is an interface that deliberately requires intense physical effort.

Exertion Interfaces can be expected to be physically exhausting when used for an extended period of time. They require effort and demand mental workload, and, just like sports, might take a short time to pick up, but a long time to master.
